Good afternoon 6th grade. Our first call last week was a wonderful success! I am so pleased that so many students took advantage of our the class and participated. We were able to achieve all our goals and the students requested we meet again. Our next class call will be Wednesday, April 1 from 4:15-5:00 pm (Zoom information below).

Due to Passover, we will not meet on April 8 (Erev Pesach/First Seder) or April 15 (7th Day Pesach). I will schedule further calls to continue after the holiday if necessary. I want to encourage all our students to continue practicing Hebrew at home. Trope and the Blessings before and Haftarah can be found on our blog: https://marlaaviva.edublogs.org/trope/. For modern Hebrew language, I highly recommend the free app, Duolingo: https://www.duolingo.com/course/he/en/Learn-Hebrew as well as utilizing the apps, and website resources on the blog for practicing vocabulary and working on basic skills. Also, take advantage of all the online offerings available at TBI, including Shabbat services with myself and Rabbi Weinberg on Fridays at 6:05 and Saturdays at 10:30, as well as adult learning.
